Your personal data
What we collect when you enquire or book, why, who sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Farways Safaris & Travel (U) Limited, Thobani Centre, 1st Floor, Jinja Road, P.O. Box 37578, Kampala, Uganda. We are responsible for the personal data described here.
What we collect
From the enquiry form: your name, your phone or WhatsApp number, your email if you give it, and what you tell us about your trip.
When you book: what we need to book it, such as names as they appear in passports, passport numbers and dates of birth. For a visa, the documents the embassy asks for.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, to plan and book your trip, and to apply for visas and permits. We don’t sell it, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the people we need to book your trip: airlines, hotels and lodges, the Uganda Wildlife Authority for permits, insurers, transport providers and embassies. Some of them are outside Uganda.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only as long as they’re useful for your trip, and booking records for as long as the law requires.
What you can ask us
Under the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we no longer need it. Email info@farwayssafarisug.com, or come to the office.
