What changes

What a luxury tour adds

The parks are the same; the pace is yours. Days unfold gently, between the best rooms and the shortest journeys.

The best room at each park

Lodges with a view of the lake, the river or the forest: suites, tented rooms with a deck, and rooms close to the trek start.

Flights between parks

Scheduled or private charter flights to the airstrips at Kihihi, Kisoro, Kasese and Murchison, instead of a day on the road.

Your own vehicle and guide

A 4x4 with a pop-up roof and a driver-guide for your party only, so you set the times.

Time between the activities

A spa treatment beside the lake, a sundowner after the game drive, dinner outdoors, local food cooked for you.

Where you stay

Stays wrapped in nature

Lodges hidden under the trees, rooms above misty valleys, suites by the lakes and the Nile. Mornings begin with birdsong; evenings end with dinner under quiet skies.

Golf safaris

Add a round of golf

A morning gorilla trek, then a quiet course surrounded by rolling hills. Uganda’s courses are open, green and rarely crowded, and several are close to the parks.

Questions

What people ask about a luxury tour

Is the gorilla trek any different?

No. Every visitor walks with the rangers, eight to a family, for one hour. The difference is the lodge you come back to and how you got there.

How do the flights work?

Small planes fly from Entebbe and Kajjansi to the airstrips near the parks. We book seats on scheduled flights, or a private charter for your group, and your driver-guide meets you at the airstrip.

Can we mix comfort levels?

Yes. Many guests choose the best room near the gorillas and a simpler one on a travel night. Tell us where it matters most to you.

Can you plan a honeymoon or an anniversary?

Yes. Tell us the occasion and we’ll ask each lodge for the room and the dinner to suit it.
